With intensive week, 3 performances, photoshoots, and classes, September was a whirlwind (pretty sure we are all still breaking a sweat just thinking about the bazillion new dances we just learned). Every month we choose a dancer who has exemplified extraordinary improvement and a continuous positive attitude amidst the chaos. We are proud of all of our dancers but in September one really stood out:
Cheyenne is a first-year rookie who thrived during intensive week and has been on top of her game ever since.
She has been Dancing for 14 years, starting out at Jasper Dance Program in Jasper AB. where she grew up.
While attending University of Lethbridge she joined their dance team with whom she danced with for two years, eventually becoming co-captain.
She currently attends Mount Royal University in hope of becoming an elementary school teacher.
In her spare time she enjoys weightlifting (we can't relate. Arm day to dancers is what leg day is to everyone else) and is addicted to music (now THAT we can relate to).
