Get to Know Hannah:
I consider myself very driven and outgoing,
I wanted to become a cub because I wanted a community and I wanted to continue dancing while I was in school. I have made friends for life through this team, and I get to continue my passion.
I am studying psychology. I love learning about brain function, mental illness and social psychology.
With my psychology degree I hope to continue on with a Masters degree and become a practicing psychologist. I love helping people, and counselling seemed like the perfect way to do that. I would also love to continue dancing for as long as possible, and I hope to teach dance at a studio on the side.
I started dancing when I was 3 years old at Kel Soloway dance studio, and continued there until I was 12. From then I switched to Ultimate dance studio until I graduated high school. I went to Central Memorial High School and was in the Performing and Visual Arts Program. I graduated with a performing arts certificate in dance in 2014. From there, I attended the Jazz Extension program at Decidedly Jazz Danceworks here in Calgary.
My favourite part of game day is performing and seeing all the excited and smiling faces out there. I love supporting the other athletes by pumping up the crowd!
